The Catholic Church confers the rank of ‘doctor’ on saints whose writings have played an important role in our faith. Along the way, many of those doctors have acquired a title (a theological nickname, perhaps).
I gathered together as many of those titles as I could, and put them in a table. This table is not authoritative; it is simply a collection of descriptors commonly used to show esteem and affection for these great saints.
